Philips CX30 & CX50 CB - Channel Board

Description:
CX30 & CX50 Channel Boards: Two transmit-and-receive boards, Channel Board 0 (CB0) and Channel Board 1 (CB1). The two boards form the electronic beams for the transmit signals and process the receive signals. CB0 is the channel board closest to the Main Board (labeled on the MB connector).

• Each Channel Board contains ASIC (application-specific integrated circuit) components that provide 64 channels of receive and transmit beamforming for a total of 128 channels between the two boards.
• Each board provides CW beamforming.
• Each board sends a value that is the sum of the data from all 64 of its receiving channels plus its channel, plus its 18-bit input bus.
• CB1 outputs the final summed RF data to the Motherboard for processing, depending on the imaging mode. The resulting data is sent to the Main Board.
